A few week ago I stepped into the first day of rehearsals for The Other Mirror’s new rock Musical GODS & KINGS, a reworking of Euripides’ Ancient Greek play THE BACCHAE with modernized language and an alt-rock musical score. Lucky enough to be a part of the ensemble/chorus/bacchae, I’m playing the cello, acoustic and electric guitar, acting, singing and dancing, sometimes all at the same time. Full of very talented musicians and actors we use our instruments, bodies and voices to create the rigid city of Thebes and the sensual and sexual world of the Bacchae. The show is bound to be a exciting, enticing and an exhilarating experience, you don’t want to miss it!
Running for a limited time at The Sheen Center in Soho from September 5th to the 9th (with two shows on the 7th and 8th) Get tickets for $18 here For more information head to The Other Mirror’s website Visit the Facebook event here.
