A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be in the short film “Devotion” written and directed by Andrew Nielson. It explores the bond of sisterhood and how far you go for the ones you love. I played the role of Jamie the younger, more impulsive irresponsible one whose whole life has been a series of bad decisions with worse consequences. She finds herself in an impossible situation and leans heavily on Natalie, played by Ruth Sullivan, her sister to help her out of it both literally and emotionally. Its about those times in life where you just wish to be a kid again, and start over, wipe the slate clean. Covered in bruises, scratches and scars created by the talented make-up artist Julia Leonor, and with Keith Chernin as our sound technician, this shoot was a highly creative environment. Andrew, and Ruth were both invaluable to me, giving me support in creating a whole experience. The film looks great, and am looking forward to sharing it with the world.
