When I was little I remember watching the Dreamworks animation “Anastasia” over and over again. Dmitri, cunning and rude but ultimately the hero was my first crush and Bartok the evil sidekick fruit bat became my first Russian impersonation. Since then I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve watched the film, relating to a young girl finding her self. So when I got the chance to play Anastasia in any form I jumped at it. A few days ago I filmed the season 3 episode 13 of the Travel Channel’s “Mystery at the Museum”. Hosted by Don Wildman the program takes you through different myths and mysteries of the past. Besides my love for the animated version I have always been intrigued but the sorry of the Russian Duchess, was she murdered along with the rest of her royal family or did she somehow manage to escape? This episode of “Mystery of the Museum” will dive into her story and the woman who was thought to be her. The cast and crew were highly professional and hardworking, the costume designer Karissa Hamilton-Bannis and make up artist Arielle Toelke were the backbone of the production. A huge thanks to them. Episode 13 will air soon on the Travel Channel, updates to come soon. Watch to find out the truth.
