Born in Amsterdam into a creative family, Kim Vogels began her artistic journey at a very early age, exploring the world through all sorts of mediums. Playing the cello since she was a little girl gave Kim the bug for performance, art and expression. Overtime and over seven different cities in four different countries, Kim was drawn more and more to the stage. Studying at Rose Bruford College, in London, she was able to explore all sides of acting, performance art, physical and experimental theatre, and the blend of music and theatre.
After working for a year in the London theatre Kim attended The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City for two years. There she was able to truly find and explore her love for the art of acting on stage and in front of the camera. Since graduating from The Strasberg Institute Kim has been in multiple short films, Independent features, and a variety of theatrical productions.
Kim is also a recording artist and musician (cello & guitar, among others) and writes her own original music, releasing her first EP in the winter of 2015.(Find more info on her music at www.kimvogels.com) Along with her acting working, she currently resides in Los Angeles and is in the studio recording her second album and performing her music.
